Doggy Afternoon Tea in Kent
A Special Afternoon Tea for Your Four-Legged Friend
At Inn on the Lake in Shorne, near Gravesend, we’ve created a unique afternoon tea especially for dogs. Our Doggy Afternoon Tea brings together a selection of homemade savoury bites, sweet treats and a few extra surprises, served on a traditional tiered stand in our dog-friendly lakeside setting.
Whether you’re a regular visitor with your four-legged friend or looking for something a little different to do together, it’s a lovely way to spend time with your dog.
And there’s more to it than tasty treats. We donate 10% of every Doggy Afternoon Tea to South East Dog Rescue, helping support dogs in need.
What’s on the Doggy Afternoon Tea Menu?
Our Doggy Afternoon Tea is packed with dog-friendly treats, with a mix of savoury and sweet bites for your pooch to enjoy.
Our menu changes seasonally, with winter flavours on our Festive Doggy Afternoon Tea, and cold, refreshing treats in the summer.
Everything is presented on a traditional afternoon tea stand, just like the human version, making it a fun treat for dogs and a great photo opportunity for their owners.
*Please note: menu items may change. Please check the current menu when booking and let us know about any dietary requirements or sensitivities your dog may have.
Supporting South East Dog Rescue
We’re proud to support South East Dog Rescue, a non-profit rescue and rehoming organisation based in Greenhithe, Kent.
The organisation works to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs across the UK, including vulnerable dogs that need specialist care and a second chance at a loving home.
That's why 10% of every Doggy Afternoon Tea goes to South East Dog Rescue. When you book a treat for your dog, you're also helping support the care of dogs who haven't yet found their forever homes.
Find out more about the organisation, meet the dogs looking for homes and discover how you can help.
Our Support for Pet Blood Bank UK
We also support Pet Blood Bank UK, a charity that helps veterinary teams save the lives of dogs through blood transfusions.
Just as people sometimes need a blood transfusion following an illness, injury or operation, dogs can need donated blood, too. Pet Blood Bank collects donations from suitable canine donors, processes the blood into products and supplies veterinary practices when it's needed.
One donation can help save the lives of up to four other dogs.
We're pleased to support the work Pet Blood Bank does to help ensure lifesaving blood is available for dogs in need. If your dog is fit, healthy and enjoys meeting people, you can find out more about becoming a donor directly through the charity.
