Located near Gravesend, with easy access from Dartford, Medway and across Kent, we’re a lovely place to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Dine Beside the Lake
Our lakeside surroundings make outdoor dining a little different from an ordinary meal out.
Depending on availability, you can enjoy food and drinks in designated outdoor seating areas, with views across the water and the gardens.
It’s a lovely option for a relaxed lunch, a drink with friends or a break during a day exploring the local area.
Please note that the lakeside patio is reserved for weddings on wedding days and may not be available to other visitors.
Afternoon Tea in the Open Air
Afternoon tea is a popular way to enjoy the hotel’s surroundings, and our outdoor setting can make it particularly special when the weather allows.
Enjoy time with friends or celebrate an occasion while taking in the lake views. Outdoor seating and specific locations are subject to availability and may be affected by private events or weather.

Your four-legged companion can enjoy a treat, too. Our Doggy Afternoon Tea and Doggy Bar Menu feature dog-friendly savoury and sweet treats.
We donate 10% of every Doggy Afternoon Tea to South East Dog Rescue.

A Note About Outdoor Seating
Our outdoor spaces are shared between hotel guests, dining visitors and private events. The lakeside patio is exclusively used by weddings on wedding days, and other areas may also be reserved for events.
If you are visiting specifically to dine outside, we recommend checking availability with the hotel beforehand. Outdoor seating is weather-dependent.
No outside food or drinks are permitted in our outdoor or indoor dining areas. As a licensed venue, all alcoholic drinks must be purchased from the hotel. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
