Planning a family stay in Kent? Our Family Rooms offer comfortable accommodation for families of three, four or five, with a choice of room styles depending on your requirements.
Family Rooms are made up of a combination of our Standard Rooms and Lakeview Rooms, giving you the option of a comfortable family room or a room with views across the lakes. Some Family Rooms have single beds, while others feature bunk beds, making them a practical choice for families travelling with children.
Rooms for Families of 3, 4 & 5
Our Family Rooms are available in different configurations to accommodate families of three, four or five.
Depending on the room allocated, sleeping arrangements may include single beds or bunk beds alongside the main bed. Please note: specific bed configurations cannot be guaranteed. If you have a preference for single beds or bunk beds, please let our Reservations team know when booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
Standard or Lakeview
Our Family Rooms are made up of a mixture of Standard and Lakeview rooms, both bookable online.
Some families can enjoy the added benefit of large windows overlooking the lakes, while others are located in our Standard Room accommodation. Lakeview Family Rooms are subject to availability and can only be guaranteed when booking a Lakeview Room.

Inn on the Lake provides plenty of space for families to enjoy during their stay, with lakes, woodland and open grounds surrounding the hotel.
Take a walk around the grounds, enjoy some time beside the lake or explore nearby Shorne Woods Country Park. Our location also makes a convenient base for exploring Gravesend, Medway, Dartford and attractions across Kent.

Dog Friendly Rooms
Your four-legged family members are welcome too. Dogs can be added to your booking for an additional nightly fee, and receive a complimentary welcome bag on arrival.
We have designated areas where guests can enjoy breakfast with their dogs, and dogs are also welcome with their owners outside by the lakes and in our bars. Dog treats are available to buy at Reception and the bar, and our Doggy Menu features snacks, cold treats and our famous Doggy Afternoon Tea.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am.
If you are arriving early or need to leave later, please speak to our reception team and we will let you know what may be possible on the day.
